History
CrossControl has it roots in the region of Hälsingland in northern Sweden. The company takes its heritage from the regions past, which is dominated by the development of industrial forestry in harsh environmental conditions. At the heart of this heritage you find people with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, concern for the environment and a tradition of teamwork.
CrossControl (founded as Cross Country Systems AB) was founded in 1991 as a spin-off from John Deeres long-established forestry machine operations which had a large engineering and development centre in the region. The forestry sector in general and John Deere in particular, were pioneers in the deployment of electronic vehicle controls and soon recognized the importance of addressing human-machine interaction.
With this experience and background, the company has evolved to bring knowledge and solutions to a broad range of industrial vehicle applications and businesses.
CrossControl today has four engineering centers in Sweden and Finland, production facilities for electronics in Sweden and Malaysia and a global customer base.
